The Samsung Galaxy M34 does a lot of things right for a smartphone. It's fast, has an excellent battery that lasts a long time, and a good main camera that covers your basic needs. Priced under ₹20,000, it's a great value for money and competes well with others in its range. If you're looking for a phone with exceptional battery life, the Samsung Galaxy M34 is a solid choice.
However, there are some drawbacks. The dynamic range of the main and wide-angle cameras could be better, the display lacks HDR support, and there are quite a bit of unnecessary preinstalled apps. Additionally, the teardrop notch design feels a bit outdated for the price in 2023.
Samsung's 2023 lineup of smartphones is interesting. The company is making an effort to unify the style across its different series, whether budget or premium. The recently released Samsung Galaxy M34 5G reflects this approach. While its rear design resembles the flagship S series, the phone itself is impressive. With the reliable Exynos 1280 SoC, a massive 6,000 mAh battery, and a capable primary camera delivering good results in daylight, the Galaxy M34 5G stands out.
